Missouri’s Tax Free Weekend in August

During Missouri’s tax-free weekend in August, you can take advantage of great savings on a wide range of items.

Here’s what you can expect:

• Clothing: Enjoy tax-free shopping on clothing priced at $100 or less per item. This includes essentials like diapers, footwear, and school uniforms.
• School Supplies: Stock up on school essentials without paying any sales tax. School supplies priced at $50 or less per item, such as textbooks, notebooks, paper, writing instruments, crayons, art supplies, rulers, book bags, backpacks, maps, and globes, are all included.
• Computer Software: If you’re in need of software, now is the time to buy. Any computer software priced at $350 or less will be exempt from sales tax.
• Graphing Calculators: Take advantage of tax-free savings on graphing calculators priced below $150.
• Computers and Peripherals: Planning to upgrade your computer setup? Computers and computer-peripheral devices priced under $1,500 per item will be exempt from sales tax. This includes laptops, desktops, and tablets, offering an excellent opportunity to enjoy discounts on these higher-priced items.
